How to Use App to Add a photo to your reels on Instagram
You have two options when it comes to adding photographs to Reels.
You can use simple photographs or a combination of images and video.
It’s all up to you.
In the tutorial below, we go over both cases.
Start a new clip on the Instagram app by hitting the “+” button in the upper-right corner of your feed and selecting “Reels.”
Alternatively, slide left on your screen and pick “Reels” from the drop-down menu.
If you only want to make a picture slideshow in Reels, touch on the photo symbol in the lower-left area of the display.
By touching on a picture, you may choose it.
If you want to utilize several images, long-press them, pick them with a tap, and then tap “Next.”
Instagram will propose that you add music to your Reel in the following window.
At the bottom of the page, you’ll find a list of the most popular songs.
Alternatively, you may use the Search button to find a particular song.
Hit “Skip” if you don’t want music on your Reel.
Press “Next” if you’ve uploaded music.
You’ll be brought to the Editing screen, where you may make changes.
You may customize your Reel from the top menu by adding effects, text, and more.

This screen allows you to do so.

Alternatively, press the “X” in the upper-left corner to conduct other adjustments, such as changing how long a slide is displayed in the Reel.
You’ll be sent to the Instagram camera once more.
The button with the arrow pointing to the left should be tapped.
This will take you to the place where you may update your slides.
You may reduce the time your photographs appear on the screen here.
Tap on a slide, then on the Scissors symbol.
Select the number of seconds you want the image to play for using the slider.

Make a mixed media reel
However, if you want to make a mixed media reel, start by repeating the first two steps.
Instead of immediately uploading photographs, press the enormous circular button at the bottom to begin recording the Reel’s video segment.
When you’re finished, take your finger off the button.
Tap the image icon in the lower-left corner to upload the photo(s).
Continue modifying your movie by adding the photos you wish to display in your Reel and using the abovementioned methods.
