Instagram has added new features for creators.
As Instagram’s creative community grows, the site has added several new features tailored just for them.
Extending Reels is a series of videos created by Extending Reels
Users may now make movies on Reels that are 90 seconds long, ranging from 60 to 90 seconds.
Reels allow you to import your audio
This much-desired feature lets users capture anything and add it to their Reels films as audio.
Reels have interactive stickers
Reels will get quizzes, emoji sliders, and poll stickers, making them as engaging as Stories.
Next in Instagram: Possibility of pinning photographs to the top of the profile grid.
You can pin up to three photographs or videos.
Follow these instructions to begin pinning:
- Click the “Pin It” button next to the post you wish to pin.
- Tap the three dots in the top-right corner.
- From the drop-down option, choose ‘Pin to your profile.’
Updates for Sensitive Content Control On Instagram
Last year Instagram launched the Sensitive Control Center, where users can define the level of sensitive content that will appear in discover from accounts they don’t follow.
With the new upgrade, Instagram is offering users additional control over sensitive accounts in Search, Accounts You Might Follow, Reels, Hashtag Pages, and In-Feed Recommendations, in addition, to Explore.
There are now three settings in the Sensitive Content Control center: “More,” “Standard,” and “Less.”
- “Standard” is the default setting, which prevents some sensitive material and accounts from being viewed.
- “More” allows individuals to see more sensitive stuff and accounts.
- “Less” allows them to see less sensitive content and accounts than the default setting.
- The “More” option is not available to those under 18.
To use these features, go to Settings > Account > Sensitive Content Control > Select one of the three alternatives.
What is the new Instagram feature?
In India and the United Kingdom, Instagram has begun testing a new tool called ‘Collab,’ which lets Instagram account users invite another account to collaborate on a post or a Reel.
If they agree, both versions will be included in reels or the post header shared with both accounts’ followers.
